Made from Nishijin fukuro obi. Gorgeous large chrysanthemum of baby pink and ivory outlined by gold and dark blue thread in the center. Leaves of the chrysanthemum is expressed by two colors- green and gray blue. The black fabric with gold thread interwoven part is stylized pattern of wave of the ocean, called “Seikaiha” (means in Japanese Kanji, “blue ocean wave”) by expressing waves as geometric repeat of half round shapes
As the different tone of purple color used in the obi was uniquely beautiful, I made this crutch combination with purple back-leather that makes soft touch and impression. The motif of gold plated clasp is the feather of peacock, all-handmade. Black-diamond color Swarovski was set.
