Description

Made from antique gorgeous maru obi. Maru obi has both sides woven designs and usually used for bridal kimono or with high-end kimono. Chrysanthemum came originally from China to Japan and have been adored since. From its gorgeous style it is considered cerebrating lucky things. Red chrysanthemum’s flower word is “love”, and small chrysanthemum’s flower words are “pureness” “truth” and “cheerfulness”. The other pattern are red color bell flowers, orange color flower of bush clover, cosmos and stack of rice straw-in golden harvest color. All these represents nature scenery of autumn season in Japan. There are also seen pine trees and gold color plum trees and flowers, which are considered cerebrating items. Each pattern is relatively small but the red and gold woven chrysanthemum makes lovely, gorgeous and refined impression on this beige color obi.
Handy size for petit size ladies and perfect for after work dinner out.
